"Ever since then we've done it on Björk Friday, as a kind of anti-consumerist response to Black Friday," Darling explained about the origin of the annual event.
"[Bjӧrk possesses] the raw energy of a true artist. I think a lot of us-there's probably three generations in this show-have that one thread in common," said event's co-producer One-Half NelSon.
