The new ownership of the World Series of Poker may implement changes regarding player eligibility based on actions taken on GGPoker, particularly relating to cheating. After blocking accounts suspected of violating terms of service, GGPoker's ambassador confirmed that players involved in these accounts would be prohibited from participating in live events. This move reflects growing concerns about cheating in online poker, especially through real-time assistance, a tool that has enabled some to gain unfair advantages by accessing strategic data during gameplay.
