Jessie Bryant, a resident of Conway, Arkansas, celebrated winning his first main event title during the World Series of Poker Circuit at the Horseshoe Casino in Tunica, Mississippi, on Feb. 3. Out of 487 entries, he garnered $144,962, marking the second-highest payday of his career, following his previous earnings of $450,400. This victory brings his lifetime earnings to $1,174,478. Throughout the tournament, Bryant exhibited strong gameplay, feeling increasingly confident as the second day progressed, ultimately securing his position as the chip leader on the final day of play.
I'm pretty excited, this feels like a long time coming. Every time I've been in the Circuit main, nothing ever works out. I had one where I had three kings against aces with one card to come. Ari Engel spikes an ace on the river after we were all in to win it. Things always seem to happen, but in this one, since day 1, it just seemed meant to be.
Two levels into Day 2 I just felt like everything was clicking. It just felt like everything I was doing was correct. I knew I had a great shot.
