Artur Martirosian secured his second Triton Poker title in one week, earning $525,000 in the $25,000 turbo bounty event, boosting his career earnings close to $21 million.
Despite starting the final table with one of the shortest stacks, Martirosian played a careful game, avoiding confrontations until strategically eliminated competitors like Dan Smith and Ren Lin.
In the heads-up against Isaac Haxton, Martirosian started with more than 2:1 chip advantage, clinching the victory with a flush draw completion on the final board.
Martirosian's victory in Monte Carlo highlights his remarkable performance, achieving seven cashes in 16 events, leading him to the top 20 in the Player of the Year standings.
