Steelers inactives: Kenny Pickett officially OUT for Week 17 vs. Seahawks
Briefly

The Steelers go into today's game against the Seattle Seahawks with Mason Rudolph as the starting quarterback, and Mitch Trubisky will be the backup. Kenny Pickett is inactive for the game, still dealing with an ankle injury. With safeties Minkah Fitzpatrick and Trenton Thompson out, Damontae Kazee suspended, and Keanu Neal on the Reserve/Injured List, it will be career-cornerback Patrick Peterson who is once again expected to step up and play safety.
The Seahawks placed safety Jamal Adams and receiver Dee Eskridge on injured reserve ahead of Week 17, accounting for their absence on the inactives list. In addition to those roster moves, linebacker Jordyn Brooks was downgraded to out. Brooks, who left last week's game with an ankle injury, was initially listed as questionable on Friday's injury report. Notably, wide receiver D.K. Metcalf, rookie cornerback Devon Witherspoon and running back Kenneth Walker III are all active, having been officially listed as questionable prior to the game.
