"T.J. Watt is down this week with a knee injury," Tomlin said. "We're hopeful that he could be a potential returner as we move forward ... We'll see where these inactives go in terms of the Sunday performance."
"Fitzpatrick has been a fast riser for us in the last couple of weeks," Tomlin said. "He's got good instincts, he's got good football functional knowledge. If he gets an opportunity to continually prepare and play, I think you'll see him make more game-changing plays and splash plays, simply because he's getting to know the defense better."
"I think that's a reasonable assumption as we sit here today," Tomlin said. "Obviously, Fitz has provided great flexibility for us when healthy. Maybe it's time to have him focus on one position a little more specifically. We gave away some flexibility in the process of doing that, and we're excited about what potentially he might be able to bring specifically to the corner position."
