'Shattered': Railroaded by dog walker, NYC man pleads for help finding his bulldogs
"Eusebio Baez says he got a call on Sunday from the dog walker. The walker reported that the dogs were no longer in the individual's apartment and, pressed further, said that they were dropped off the prior afternoon."
"Baez says he never returned with the animals. The frustrated man says surveillance video shows the dog walker near the Van Cortlandt Park 1 train station on Saturday evening. He didn't have the dogs with him."
"Baez has posted flyers all over his neighborhood as he searches for the dogs, but believes they were sold. 'Just give 'em back,' Baez said. 'I won't ask any questions. If you paid for them, I'll give you the money back, you know. I just want my dogs back.'"
Eusebio Baez left his four French bulldogs with a trusted dog walker while he traveled to Vermont. Upon returning, he discovered the dogs were missing. The dog walker claimed they were dropped off, but surveillance footage showed him without the dogs later. Baez expressed frustration over conflicting stories and has taken steps to find his pets, including posting flyers and using social media. He believes the dogs may have been sold and is willing to pay for their return without questions.
