"Vera Errico said she was walking her three dogs on leashes just before 6 a.m. inside a gated Malibu community when Charvet allegedly hit one of the animals with his Ford Super Duty truck."
"Errico said the vehicle struck Sunday, her 11-year-old white English Labrador. She and her husband rushed the injured dog to a veterinarian, where the pet was euthanized."
"Errico said Charvet did not stop immediately after the collision and instead drove outside the gated community, where she believes he contacted police."
"Charvet told the outlet he had 'no comment' when reached by phone and referred the outlet to his publicist, who is yet to comment."
David Charvet allegedly struck and killed an 11-year-old Labrador while driving his pickup truck in a gated Malibu community. Vera Errico was walking her three dogs when the incident occurred. The injured dog was taken to a veterinarian but was euthanized. Errico claims Charvet did not stop after the collision and left the area, possibly contacting police afterward. Errico and her husband intend to file a hit-and-run report with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Office.
