"This Halloween, New York's most stylish pups are getting their own haunted playground. The Farmer's Dog is hosting its first-ever Treat Street, a four-day, citywide celebration that culminates in a Halloween parade and costume contest at Washington Square Park on Saturday, October 25. Running October 23-26, the canine trick-or-treating extravaganza will transform parks across the city into a tail-wagging version of Halloween Village, with themed "haunted dog houses," photo ops and, of course, lots of treats."
"The brand will be introducing its new Snap Sticks, "science-backed treats that solve the trick behind treating," designed to keep dogs happy without packing on the pounds. The event kicks off on Thursday at Chelsea Waterside Park, continues Friday at Union Square and lands in Washington Square Park on Saturday from 9am to 4pm. The main parade will start at noon."
Treat Street runs October 23-26 across New York City parks and culminates with a Halloween parade and costume contest at Washington Square Park on October 25. The event transforms multiple parks into themed haunted dog houses with photo ops, booths, and treat sampling. The Farmer's Dog will introduce Snap Sticks, science-backed treats formulated to keep dogs happy without adding excess weight. Each stop features spooky setups like the Boneyard Bungalow and a "pawtography" station by @nycstreetdogs, plus opportunities to sample treats. Waldo's Rescue will bring 10 adoptable dogs. The parade grand prize is a year of free fresh food and swag; the first 100 registered dogs at Washington Square Park receive free treat bags. New customers can get 50% off their first order plus free treats.
