During a recent trip to Paris to celebrate an anniversary, the author and their husband enjoyed roundtrip business-class flights from Dublin with Air France, spending $275 each on upgrades. They appreciated the comfort of business class and accessed lounges in both airports, although the Paris lounge was under construction, leading to a less-than-ideal temporary space. Despite facing long lines and some airport inconveniences, they found the overall experience enjoyable and a nice way to commemorate their special occasion.
We had access to the Terminal 1 lounge at Dublin Airport, which had plenty of seating, plus complimentary light snacks and beverages.
Unfortunately, the dedicated Air France lounge in Paris was being renovated during our visit, so we were directed to a temporary lounge space that was a bit dark and sparsely furnished.
