Disneyland to fix curved Eiffel Tower in Soarin' Around the World
Briefly

Disney California Adventure will update the Eiffel Tower scene in the Soarin' Around the World ride to correct its comical curvature, reflecting recent enhancements made to Epcot's version of the attraction. Although the ride is set to reopen on May 2, the Eiffel Tower update will occur in the coming weeks, providing riders with an improved view of Paris and the Seine River. This change aims to offer a longer, clearer perspective of the iconic landmark, enhancing the overall experience for guests.
The Eiffel Tower update coming to DCA will mirror changes made in November to Epcot's version of the Soarin' flight simulator ride, according to Nexstar theme park reporter Scott Gustin. Epcot's Soarin' ride was updated to reflect changes made during recent renovations to the entrance of the Florida theme park.
The updated Eiffel Tower scene will give Soarin' riders a longer and more detailed view of Paris and the Seine River. The sharper and clearer new scene featuring the Paris landmark starts farther away from the Eiffel Tower with a straightened view of the monument.
