Beloved Parisian department store Printemps has finally opened in NYC: see inside
Briefly

Printemps has officially opened its first location in New York City at 1 Wall Street, marking a significant expansion of the French department store brand, known for its luxurious offerings since 1865. Spanning 55,000 square feet, the store harmoniously blends Parisian elegance with New York's vibrancy, showcasing designer fashion, accessories, and home décor alongside five culinary experiences. CEO Jean-Marc Bellaiche emphasized the unique shopping experience, stating it redefines conventional department store concepts. With vibrant sections like a sneaker room and various themed salons, Printemps aims to engage customers in an immersive retail experience.
New York offers a dynamic mix of cultural diversity and global influence, making it the perfect location for our brand's expansion and the introduction of our new concept. Printemps New York represents a completely fresh approach-it's not a department store. We are redefining traditional concepts of retail and, as a result, it stands apart from any other retail concept in the world.
There's plenty to discover inside: a vibrant multi-colored marble 'playroom' featuring casualwear, gifts and the all-day Café Jalu-named after Printemps' founders Jules and Augustine Jaluzot.
