My sister Kari had her first baby in September. My husband Joe and I are adoptive parents and were chosen to adopt a newborn-with no notice-in August.
I don't know if there's something else going on with her-postpartum stress or depression, or some other issue, perhaps?-that could partially explain (if not excuse) her lashing out this way.
