I've spent 20 years raising 3 student athletes. Being a sports mom was both awful and rewarding.
Briefly

After two decades of being a sports mom to three athletes, I've come to appreciate the challenging yet rewarding experience of youth sports. My time spent waking up early for games brought both stress and joy; still, seeing my children's achievements made it worthwhile. Throughout this journey, I've learned important life lessons about sacrifice, sportsmanship, and perseverance, both for my kids and myself. Observing their growth enriched my life, despite occasional frustrations and exhaustion from countless weekend games and early starts.

Witnessing kids' growth, humility, and commitment to their sport and team is beautiful.
Those weekends filled with youth sports were both wonderful and maddening.
