Bryony Mills-Evans, unaware she was pregnant, unexpectedly gave birth in her workplace at a beauty parlour. At 23, without prior symptoms, she felt cramps she attributed to menstruation. Within minutes, she realized she was in labor and delivered her baby girl, Willow, alone. Lacking knowledge about childbirth, she cut the umbilical cord with eyebrow scissors before wrapping her daughter in towels. Since her experience, Bryony aims to raise awareness about cryptic pregnancies, which affect about 325 women in the UK annually, encouraging others to share their stories and experiences.
