HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) warns parents that the deadline to extend child benefits for children 16-19 is August 31, or benefits will cease.
Parents can easily extend their Child Benefit claim online or via the HMRC app, with over 270,000 already doing so digitally.
Myrtle Lloyd of HMRC emphasized the importance of Child Benefit support, urging parents not to miss their opportunity to continue receiving it.
Eligible families can continue to receive Child Benefit if their child is studying full time in non-advanced education, including A levels or home education.
