Google sometimes shows a label under live search results reading “Updated by AI 1 minute ago.” Instead of only indicating a generic update time, the label discloses that the update was performed using AI. The behavior has been observed in live feed timeline elements in search results, including a timeline for “Cannes festival” that appears curated using AI and includes social and web content. The same pattern has been reported as not entirely new, with similar labeling seen in live timeline content related to the Oscars earlier in the year. The observations were shared via screenshots and videos showing the label in action.
"Google Search is sometimes showing a label under the Live search results named “Updated by AI 1 minute ago.” So Google is labeling what content was updated using AI, which seems new to me. Normally it would just say it was updated X minutes ago, but not disclose that it was AI."
