The AI avatar update does not persist during playback. The avatar appears updated on initial slide load but immediately reverts to the original when the old recording begins. The standard update procedure is to select the slide, click the avatar, open Visual properties, choose Change avatar, select or upload a new avatar, adjust the voice if needed, and click Apply. The described steps produce a transient update that does not survive playback of the existing recording. The problem reproduces after repeating the same steps and the avatar consistently switches back once the previous recording plays.
