Kundai Chitima and Kelvin Birioti run separate channels on YouTube and Instagram, posting short videos and updates that highlight property opportunities, agricultural tips, and market trend analysis. For Zimbabweans abroad, decisions about returning or investing are increasingly influenced by these on-the-ground perspectives rather than official narratives. Catherine Mutisi, who lived in the United Kingdom for 17 years, had already invested in Zimbabwe but shifted toward permanent relocation after watching Birioti’s construction-related content. She said earlier narratives made her cautious, while the online videos changed her outlook and plans.
