"Wellbeing Is Infrastructure is a seven-part series where we dive into two dimensions: One highlights the pervasive, systemic realities that often impede workplace wellbeing, and efforts to change those conditions; the other explores the ways technology can be leveraged to create sustainable infrastructure and how we might navigate the challenges along the way."
"If technology is meant to advance social good, how does this commitment show up inside our own organizations? To explore this question, NPQ will join leaders at the 2026 Nonprofit Technology Conference-an annual gathering of those who use technology to make the world a better place."
NPQ is launching "Wellbeing Is Infrastructure: Leveraging Tech for Sustainability and Workplace Wellness," a seven-part series in anticipation of the 2026 Nonprofit Technology Conference. The series explores two interconnected dimensions: systemic barriers to workplace wellbeing and efforts to address them, and how technology can create sustainable infrastructure while navigating associated challenges. Topics covered include IT capacity investment and burnout reduction, workforce equity in the AI age, leader care and modernization, staff voice alignment with policies, worker power versus AI efficiency, and consultant-to-code transitions. The series examines how nonprofit organizations can authentically advance social good through technology while prioritizing employee wellbeing and organizational stability.
