This initiative aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the pandemic's impact on health, society, and economy, ensuring lessons are learned for future emergencies. The consultation will involve discussions and community engagement to create a holistic overview, with particular attention given to vulnerable groups impacted by the pandemic.
This consultation is one element of a wider programme of work, insights gathered will inform the Evaluation's final report, which will be a comprehensive, evidence-based analysis to help Ireland prepare more effectively for future emergencies.
Our goal is to produce a thorough, independent assessment of Ireland's pandemic response. One that reflects real life as well as official records.
