A guided outdoor walk in Courtown, Gorey will take place on Sunday, May 31 during the Bank Holiday Weekend. The 6km route follows the Courtown to Kiltennel Trail and is expected to take over one hour, starting at 2 p.m. Participants are asked to meet at the main car park in Courtown or the trail head car park. The walk focuses on ecology, biodiversity, and local heritage connected to a wooded dune system of ecological importance. Light refreshments will be provided after the walk, and donations will support the Hope Cancer Support Centre. The Courtown to Kiltennel trail has recorded more than 74,000 users in the last 12 months.
