Disneyland's upcoming 'Avatar' land will unveil an original experience unrelated to Walt Disney World's version, exploring new locations and themes inspired by 'Avatar: The Way of Water'.
Disney Experiences Chairman Josh D'Amaro emphasized that this new land will expand the Avatar universe, stating, 'Just as 'Avatar: The Way of Water' introduced us to places on Pandora that we had never seen before, this experience will invite us to explore even further.'
Imagineer Ali Rubinstein mentioned the distinction by saying, 'We're taking our guests to a whole new location on Pandora,' highlighting the fresh narrative direction and attractions that Disneyland's version will offer.
Concept art reveals lush landscapes with a focus on vivid blue water features, which align with the second film's setting. Rubinstein described the boat ride as an 'innovative new attraction' aimed at providing a 'dynamic, intense and emotional experience on a grand scale.'
