Warren Washington, Groundbreaking Climate Scientist, Dies at 88
Briefly

Warren M. Washington was a pioneer in meteorology and climate science, being one of the first scientists to develop computer models that accurately measured human-induced climate change.
In the 1964 interview, Dr. Washington reflected, "The models that we started with in 1964 were very primitive. The early models were simple atmosphere models. Then we added oceans. Then we added sea ice. Then we added land surface vegetation."
