Video. WATCH: Russia's far east shaken by 7.0-magnitude quake
Briefly

CCTV and social media footage reveal the extent of the powerful 7.0-magnitude earthquake that struck near Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, shaking flats and scattering objects. Initial tsunami warnings were lifted shortly after.
Despite the earthquake's intensity, which occurred 29 kilometers below the surface, there were no immediate reports of damage or injuries. However, minor sea-level fluctuations were noted as a consequence.
Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, a city of 181,000 residents, is situated near a significant Russian submarine base and is surrounded by several active volcanoes, which adds an additional layer of geological risk.
The earthquake also triggered the eruption of the Shiveluch volcano, located 450 kilometers away, sending ash into the atmosphere, along with increased activity reported from another volcano on Paramushir Island.
