The Gulf of California, also known as the Sea of Cortez, is the top underrated scuba destination with excellent amenities and value for money.
"The destination doesn't see much Google interest online, but it has some of the best amenities and value for money," wrote the team.
During the peak season from April to June, divers can see tens of thousands of mobula rays in the Sea of Cortez.
Jacques Cousteau famously dubbed the Sea of Cortez "the world's aquarium," highlighting its incredible marine biodiversity.
