The physics behind the most annoying thing that could ever happen to you: A paper cut

In our study, we found that the most hazardous paper for causing cuts is approximately 65 microns thick, notably found in certain newspapers and dot-matrix printer paper.
We designed a robot to simulate paper cuts on a gelatin block that mimics human skin, allowing us to explore the cutting capacity of various types of paper.
