In a dry river valley on Mars, NASA's Perseverance rover found a unique rock called Cheyava Falls, showing signs of potential ancient alien life with organic compounds and water-deposited calcium sulfate veins.
The rock, resembling an arrowhead-shaped outcropping of mudstone with reddish and whitish stripes, contains molecules of iron phosphate that could be a food source for subsurface microbes, alongside organic compounds acting as building blocks of life.
