Time literally flows faster at the altitude where GPS satellites are than it does for clocks situated on Earth's surface. It's relatively easy to account for gravitational time dilation adjustments on Earth, but a system like this will be needed on the Moon.
The International Astronomical Union proposes a 'Lunar Celestial Reference System' and 'Lunar Coordinate Time' to manage time differences on the Moon. Researchers are already calculating the math to implement this for upcoming Moon missions.
