Rain gardens and bathwater reuse becoming trends, RHS says
Briefly

Rain gardens are gaining popularity as a way to reduce water usage by collecting and storing rainwater for garden irrigation and filtering it for drinking purposes.
Rain gardens can absorb 30% more water than a traditional lawn, reduce erosion, provide food and habitat for insects and birds, and hold moisture in the soil longer.
Royal Horticultural Society is exploring the safe and effective use of grey water from activities like washing up and bath to water gardens, as fresh tap water may become less feasible due to water usage reduction goals.
