Previously unknown Mozart music discovered in German library
Briefly

A previously unknown piece of music by Mozart, likely composed in his early teens, was discovered in a German library and includes seven movements for string trio.
The piece, consisting of seven miniature movements lasting about 12 minutes, was found while researchers were compiling the Kochel catalogue, the definitive archive of Mozart's music.
Though it is believed to be a copy from around 1780, the piece demonstrates Mozart's early compositional skills before his first trip to Italy.
The piece, now referred to as Ganz kleine Nachtmusik, was performed during the unveiling of the new Kochel catalogue in Salzburg and will premiere in Leipzig.
