Candela has announced a partnership with NEOM to deliver a fleet of P-12 electric hydrofoil shuttle ships, aiming to enhance sustainable water transport in Saudi Arabia's megacity.
The P-12 is touted as the world’s first high-speed, long-range electric shuttle ship, with capabilities that may significantly improve passenger travel around NEOM's islands.
With the NEOM team suggesting a world-class yachting club on Sindalah, the arrival of Candela's zero-emission fleet indicates a commitment to luxurious and sustainable marine experiences.
The P-12 model demonstrated impressive performance during its maiden cruise, achieving speeds of 16 knots, and reaching a top speed of 30 knots in just 16 seconds.
