Arriving at Tarbert in Harris, one cannot help but be struck by the stark, treeless landscape that blankets the island, almost reminiscent of a forgotten era.
My time producing the Gaelic soap opera Machair led me to develop a deep connection with the islands, igniting a lasting love for their culture and beauty.
Returning to the islands after a long absence during the pandemic offered a new perspective on what remains cherished and unchanged, capturing the essence of their timeless appeal.
