Meet Loki,' the new dinosaur with giant horns that dates back 78 million years
Briefly

The newly discovered dinosaur, Lokiceratops rangiformi, has a very distinctive feature: a unique array of head ornaments, including the largest horns ever seen, resembling the character Loki from Marvel comics.
The dinosaur was discovered, identified, and named by Joseph Sertich and Mark Loewen. The head ornaments on Lokiceratops are unusual, blade-like antlers, and asymmetrical reindeer-like horns similar to Marvel's Loki's helmet.
Reconstructing and identifying the remains of Lokiceratops was a significant challenge. Once the skull fragments were pieced together, it became evident that it was a new species. The research involved detailed descriptions and comparisons with other horned dinosaurs.
Lokiceratops is estimated to have lived about 78 million years ago, measured 6.7 meters in length, and weighed around five tons. It resided on the island continent of Laramidia in North America, predating its relative, Triceratops, by around 12 million years.
