Male mosquitoes exhibit remarkable behavior by incorporating both sound and visual cues when pursuing females, demonstrating that they can see in addition to hearing.
Our findings show that male mosquitoes can integrate acoustic cues with visual cues to effectively identify and pursue female mosquitoes, avoiding collisions.
