Astronomers recently captured the attention of the cosmic community by documenting two supermassive black holes in a death spiral, foreshadowing potential occurrences in our own Milky Way.
These two black holes, found near the center of the galaxy MCG-03-34-64, are actively 'feeding' on surrounding gas, resulting in luminous emissions in visible light, x-rays, and radio waves.
