Paleontologists have discovered dinosaur tracks at Dewars Farm Quarry in Oxfordshire, revealing insights into dinosaur size, speed, and their prehistoric environment.
The longest trackway, nearly 500 feet long, was made by long-necked herbivorous sauropods, while a fifth trackway was attributed to a carnivorous Megalosaurus.
Edgar noted that the environment for these dinosaurs likely resembled present-day Florida Keys, providing context for their size and movement dynamics.
Emma Nicholls emphasized that even well-known dinosaurs like Megalosaurus still hold unknown evidence, highlighting the continuous discoveries in paleontology.
