According to AAA, gas prices in Florida have dropped by 10 cents this week, with Miami area prices decreasing by 13.5 cents, significantly lower than last month.
Mark Jenkins from AAA mentioned that the significant drop in prices is attributed to a substantial decline in the crude oil market, benefitting consumers at the pump.
Patrick De Haan from GasBuddy anticipates that gas prices will keep declining as Americans reduce their driving with the onset of fall, impacting demand.
In North Florida, several areas are averaging less than $3 a gallon, making it the cheapest region in Florida for gas, while Palm Beach County remains the most expensive.
