Hoo Zoo and Dinosaur World in Shropshire reported that their capybara, Cinnamon, has escaped, urging the public to report sightings and not attempt to capture her.
The zoo confirmed the last sighting of Cinnamon was on Saturday evening, and announced the escape on their Facebook, offering contact numbers for reports.
Zoo officials noted that although capybaras are generally friendly, Cinnamon could become unpredictable if scared or cornered, highlighting the importance of caution for the public.
