A new species of dinosaur, Comptonatus chasei, as big as an American bison, was unearthed at Compton Bay, Isle of Wight, considered the most complete UK fossil in a century.
The 125-million-year-old herbivore, a member of the iguanodontian group, was likely a herding animal and may have lived in large groups, weighing around a tonne.
