Carrington dismissed the idea of being intentional about the incident, stating, "I don't even know why I would intend to hit anybody in the eye...that's not even the type of player that I am."
In preparation for Game 2, Clark highlighted the team's capability, saying, "We know we're capable of beating this team. We have done it...I don't think it's anything we're shying away from."
