China launches 18 satellites into space

China launched 18 satellites to enhance its orbital network, part of a program by Shanghai Spacecom Satellite Technology to deploy 15,000 'Low Earth Orbit satellites' by 2030. The Long March-6 carrier rocket reached its orbit successfully.
China's space program includes crewed missions, space station, Moon rover missions, and the Beidou System, a competitor to the US GPS system for navigation.
