Beware the harmless looking 'Hot Tub of Despair' which kills instantly
Briefly

The Hot Tub of Despair contains a toxic concoction of ultra-salty water, methane, and hydrogen sulphide, instantly killing almost anything that enters its depths.
Upon its 2015 discovery, researchers noted the banks of the Hot Tub were littered with preserved corpses of creatures that perished in its lethal thermal waters.
This deadly pool lies over 1,000 meters below the Gulf of Mexico, surrounded by unique ecosystems that thrive in extreme conditions but which no typical life forms can bear.
The area was studied as part of an exploration of 'cold seeps', where hydrocarbons escape from beneath the seafloor, forming brine pools with salinity four times that of regular seawater.
