Feinberg Student Group Presents Healthcare Innovation Projects - News Center
Briefly

Second Opinions, established in 2015 at Feinberg School of Medicine, is a student organization focusing on improving healthcare for underserved communities while providing medical students with real-world experience. They adopt a management consulting model, where small teams tackle strategic challenges faced by clinics, supported by expertise from Northwestern Memorial Hospital. Recent events like their Poster Showcase allow students to present projects that highlight their collaborative efforts and reflect their commitment to community health and quality improvement. Students, including president Aden Goolsbee, emphasize the unique learning and community engagement experiences gained through the organization.
"Second Opinions has been an awesome way to both learn about a different side of healthcare and make a difference in our community on a more systemic level."
"I have really enjoyed learning more about community health and quality improvement as well as being able to interact with healthcare professionals around Chicago."
