Over 100 retired NASA astronauts have established a nonpartisan organization called Astronauts for America. This group aims to promote U.S. constitutional principles, including the rule of law and checks and balances. The organization emphasizes the importance of cooperation across political lines for NASA's success and plans to release scorecards to evaluate national performance on these principles.
