To be clear, it is always annoying when the Yankees lose winnable series, especially when they win the opener of a three-game set at Fenway. But this is not a terrible Red Sox team; just a mediocre one.
They're likely to win two out of three in a home series, even with the Yankees a 50-win team by mid-June. The Yanks could have played better, but it happens.
