The Yankees made some minor moves on Thursday, getting a speedster outfielder named Bubba Thompson from the Reds off of waivers and a right-handed pitcher Cody Poteet, formerly from Miami. The pair are potential roster depth depending on how spring training goes, but they've got invites to show what they can do then. Considering how stretched out the team can get in Florida, there's no harm in taking on a couple of fliers.
