This era of the Yankees never gets the last laugh
Briefly

In the aftermath of the Yankees’ 4-1 loss to the Dodgers in this year’s World Series, I can't help but think that there aren't really any moments from this run that evoke strong emotions for me.
Juan Soto's ALCS-clinching home run was undeniably impressive, but it won't feel as significant as Derek Jeter's 'Mr. November' homer due to the lack of a World Series title.
There’s a lingering worry after this World Series that the reason I don’t feel as connected to this team is that I don’t trust this era of the Yankees.
I’m not going to call them ‘mentally weak’ or demand drastic changes, but my lack of faith in this team’s success continues to grow after their latest performance.
