But for me, the overarching theme for the 2024 Yankees is about changing the narrative.
The lens through which fans judge players is narrow, but that also means the opportunity to change their perspective becomes easier.
It may take time, but these two players have a chance to flip the script on how this fanbase sees them.
There is a fine line between like and dislike amongst Yankee fans, and I hope that two of the newest Yankees take advantage of this opportunity to change our minds.
