New York Yankees @ Chicago White Sox: Will Warren vs. Davis Martin
Briefly

'However, securing the W may prove to be a difficult feat (even against Chicago) with the inexperienced righty Will Warren taking the mound. The Saturday doubleheader necessitated his return, as there wouldn't have been a rested starter otherwise.'
'Warren, like the rest of us, will try to move past his August 7th start against the Angels, when he gave up six runs in the second inning and a total of eight runs in the 4.1 innings he pitched.'
'Taking the mound for the White Sox is Davis Martin, who has played a total of 17 games in the majors since his debut in 2022. Martin underwent Tommy John surgery in May of last year and only recently returned to the mound in mid-July.'
'In last night's game, the Yankees' offense only had to rely on Juan Soto to get the job done. His three dingers scored all four runs. While I'm sure Soto would love to have another three homer night, it would be nice to see some run production from the rest of the lineup.'
